I have fond memories of tie-dye clothes. A long time ago, before my cousin migrated, she'd wear the tie-dyed t-shirts she made. She was very artistic and went abroad to study the fine arts. Until today, I associate tie-dye clothes with her. The patterned effect is achieved when you tie knots in the t-shirt of fabric before you plunge it into the dye.
